Rubbish second half but a much needed win.
Went across the Sir Bobby Robson bridge, pity the developers, Fairview cannot or have not put up a sign by the bridge.

A nice evening on the outskirts of North London ruined by a poor game of football, and then a warm March afternoon in Ipswich not much better, as even their Reserves beat us ( strange watching a game in a 30,000 seat stadium with only 40 other hardy souls!)

Never seems cold when winning!

Funny how it never seems cold at a night game, when your winning - must have been freezing for those Welsh fans - and they had a long trip home on top of a poor display.

We don't like to be by the Seaside!
Saturday 6th March 2010 - Blackpool 1 Ipswich Town 1 - Championship
Well the ground may have 3 real stands now but the away fans are still stuck on temporary seating on one side of the ground, fortunately for us, it was a sunny March day so we did not end up getting soaked. that would have been even more galling as we sat next to the empty Jimmy Armfield Stand.
Blackpool themselves are in a hurry to get this new stand open as the game was a sell out for home fans. One plus point from that is you get a number of neutrals sitting with the away fans, we had a family from Sunderland behind us (not that keen on our Roy) and in front of us a number of Glasgow Rangers fans. Not sure they will be rushing back to see Ipswich play, yet again a performance that left many of us not sure in what direction we are heading.
What I did manage to get on my trip was a picture of the Stan Mortensen statue at the Bloomfield Road ground.
